Dr Rahmel completed his Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in 2015 having been based in Queensland for his training.

Dr Rahmel subsequently moved to Townsville where he has been living for the last 8 years and is currently the owner of Townsville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Townsville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a group practice with 3-4 consultants working there.
