Richard is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in full-time private practice in Geelong, Victoria (Australia). He completed 11 years of Public Consultant work in Geelong with an emphasis on Facial trauma and facial deformity correction. Most of this period as Head of Unit Geelong Public Hospital. He now concentrates on the provision of Complex Orthognathic surgical treatment with emphasis on Facial aesthetics and Airway optimisation. He is also strongly involved in providing the full spectrum of dental implant surgery from restorative to full arch conversion.

He is an active member of the ANZAOMS Council and long-term examiner for the Australasian Fellowship in OMS.
