Dr Abigail Estelle
Since then she has visited over 50 countries and provided medical care in 5 continents with various NGOs, both in sustainable settings and in disaster response. She also runs a non-profit “Willing and Abel” for children of developing nations requiring specialist surgery.
It was in Haiti, following the 2010 earthquake and subsequent cholera outbreak that she met her now husband, Kenny, an American. This led to a move to Jacksonville, Florida to undertake 5 years OMF specialty training. After which Abi and Kenny decided to relocate the family to their favourite country; New Zealand!
