Dr Hassan Moghadam

Dr. Moghadam completed his dental training at McGill University in 1995 followed by a multidisciplinary residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Toronto in 2002 and pursued a Masters in Science in the field of bone engineering. He is currently in private practice at Argyle Associates in Ottawa, Ontario. He is on staff at the McGill University undergraduate clinic and University of Toronto department of Periodontology. He is the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Montfort Hospital for the last 20 years. 
He has lectured and published both nationally and internationally in the field of bone regeneration, implant surface design and soft tissue surgery. His lecture series is dedicated to the regeneration of peri-implant tissues, complex rehabilitation, treatment planning and implant complications. He was directly involved with Health Canada National surveillance committee in developing standards for cells, tissues and organ transplants in Canada.
His current research involves 3D optical based imaging of bone and tissue used to detect the neurovascular bundle during implant surgery and to scan the bone under the soft tissue for periodontal mapping and regeneration.
