Maarten Van Genechten MD obtained his medical degree from the University of Antwerp in 2007 and, after his basic training as a Maxillo-Facial surgeon in Belgium, trained in several fellowships in Australia (Head and Neck Reconstruction in Brisbane and Facial Plastic Surgery AAFPS in Sydney). He works as a facial surgeon at AZ Monica Antwerp and AZ KLINA Brasschaat, where his main area of interest and expertise lies in facial plastic surgery, orthognathic surgery and facial feminization surgery. He focuses on total facial procedures but also performs isolated deep plane face and necklifts, browlifts, eyelid corrections, rhinoplasties and liplifts.
