Located in the heart of the city and designed to be Christchurch's gathering place, Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is a state-of-the-art convention centre and embodies the unique culture of the Canterbury region.

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Christchurch's CBD, in the Arts precinct and bordering Victoria Park, Cathedral Square. It is in a prime riverside location; only minutes away from hotels, restaurants and retail.

The Registration and Information Desk is located in the Te Pae Main Foyer and will be open the following times:

Thursday 6 August from 7:30am-5:30pm
Friday 7 August from 7:30am -5:30pm
Saturday 8 August from 8:00am - 3:25pm

Name badges will be available to collect from the registration desk upon arrival. For security purposes, please wear your name badge at all times, including at social functions.

Every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements and/or special requirements, however advance notice is needed. If you did not provide this information at the time of registering, please email the ASM Office.

The Speaker Preparation Room is located in the Organisers Office 2, of the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre and is open the following times:

Thursday 6 August from 7:30am-4:45pm
Friday 7 August from 7:30am-5:30pm
Saturday 8 August from 8:00am-3:00pm

Cloak Room TBC

A few days prior to the ASM you will receive an email from us detailing how to access the ASM App, which will provide you with the latest information. We encourage you to download the App before arriving at the ASM.

To assist with networking, a copy of the delegate list, excluding privacy requests, will be available on the ASM App.

The dress code for the ASM is smart casual.

If you have booked accommodation through the ASM Office, any changes to your booking must be managed through the ASM Office by email, not directly with the hotel.

If there is an emergency at the venue, please stay calm. Please follow the instructions given by the venue staff who are fully trained for an emergency situation.

The emergency phone number in New Zealand is 111. The dispatcher will then put you through to Police, Ambulance or the Fire Brigade.

We encourage you to network with the exhibitors during the ASM. Located in the Exhibition Hall E1 and E2, the Exhibition will be open the following times:

Thursday 6 August from 7:30am-6:15pm
Friday 7 August from 7:30am-5:30pm
Saturday 8 August from 8:00am-2:00pm

Daily catering and the Welcome Reception will also be held in the Exhibition TBC

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such coverage. The ASM Organisers and the ASM Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

There will be a dedicated wifi network for you to use throughout the ASM. The password to the ASM network will be printed on the reverse side of your name badge.

Please be advised during the ASM photography and filming may take place and may be used to promote the ASM, both within New Zealand and internationally, across all print and digital platforms. If you do not wish to appear in any images captured, please inform us so we can take the appropriate steps and where possible, and please move out of camera range.

The ASM opening session will commence at 8:20am sharp on Thursday 6 August 2026. This will be in Exhibition Hall E1 and E2 of the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre. We encourage you to register early to ensure you are seated and ready for the formalities to begin. Please see the ASM website for the full program.

Please check your registration details in your email confirmation. If you would like to attend any of the events, and it is not in your confirmation email please contact the ASM Office.

ANZAOMS/ERDG Gala Dinner

Dress Code: Formal Lounge Suit/Cocktail
Tickets: This event is included full registrations for ANZAOMS Members, Retired Members and Non-Members. Additional tickets may be purchased for Trainee/Nurse registrations, day delegate registrations and additional guests attending at $235 AUD per person inc GST.
